Children's Cloud Daycare is a family daycare and preschool located in Gaithersburg, MD and is only a few minutes drive from Milestone Shopping Center and from 270. I am licensed with the State of Maryland and me and my staff have over 18 years of combined experience working in childcare. I am a mom and therefore have lots of experience with babies. I participate in the EXCELS program and am a member of the NAFCC.
The curriculum I use incorporates:
- Learning,
- Play,
- Creativity,
- Motor skills,
- Speaking and reading skills,
- Outdoor play,
- Individual learning and group activities,
- A home that's clean, smoke free and pet free.
We also do activities that require teamwork to build trust and critical social skills and I incorporate some of the basic principles of Montessori.
- I provide healthy home-cooked nutritious meals and snacks,
- Lots of individual attention,
- Age appropriate toys,
- A fun play based learning environment,
- Fun outdoor activities and plenty of outdoor time.
I have completed and passed the following:
- Criminal Federal Background Check.
- Physical Health Check.
Training and Certifications:
- 45 hours Infant and Toddler training course.
- 45 hours Growth & Development training course.
- SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome).
- CPR and First Aid.
- Medication Administration.
- Support Infant Feeding (Breastfeeding).
- Including All Children and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
- 24 hours of training in After School Programs, Family Diversity, and Inclusive Early Childhood Programs, Caring for Children in Your Home, and Emergency Preparedness.
- 18 hours annual required childcare training.
I am very loving and kind hearted and my staff is very compassionate, friendly, loving, and caring. I also offer before and after school care.
