Children's Center Of Lexington

CCL is an NAEYC accredited and MA licensed early education and care center serving children from 15 months through 5 years of age. We are a full-year program. Classrooms are well equipped, cheery, and provide a comfortable atmosphere for children to grow and learn at their own pace. We strive to provide a nurturing, child-centered environment and promote the development of a child's emotional, social, physical, creative, and intellectual skills. Since the need or each child vary, goals are individually set. We seek to balance quiet and active, group and individual activity throughout the day. We provide opportunities for art, block work, dramatic play, cooking, painting, puzzles, field trips, science exploration, math and reading readiness, music,literature, creative movement, physical activity both in our indoor play space and our beautiful, natural playground, and sand and water play. The Center has 6 classrooms: 2 toddler, 2 preschool and 2 pre-k. We accept children 15 months through pre-kindergarten. The staff/ child ratio is 1/3 for toddlers and 1/5 for pre-school and pre-k.
