Child's Play Charlotte

Childs Play Charlotte currently provides a weekday school environment for families that need full-time childcare for their 2-4 year olds from 8:00am-4:30pm.

I have 10+ years experience as a mother of 2 beautiful children, a BS in Early Childhood Experience and 5 years experience in a childcare facility & public school teaching preschool-1st grade.
I can provide solid references and got my last background check last year and will renew as I am in the process of getting licensed.

Family child care in a "home like " setting is the best alternative there is for working parents. It provides a small secure environment for children during the most important time of their development. Family child care offers a home away from home, providing children with "siblings " of all ages, to play, socialize, and learn from.

gardening and trips to local farms and farmers markets) giving your child well-rounded experiences to inspire every child.

Although I believe that 2-4year olds need to play to learn, I also understand that our society is more demanding of our rising Kindergartners so I have a Montessori-inspired approach to our learning (that allows the kids to spend a great deal of their day outside) and have successfully prepared our children to enter into their preschool and kindergarten school year with confidence. I look forward to doing the same for your children.
