I am a musician and teacher looking to keep working through the summer while my academic jobs are on summer hiatus.
I have my own 6 year old son, and I have taught music lessons to children for many years, currently teaching at a private school Wellesley and working as a professional musician.
I have volunteered in my son's kindergarten classroom to read and do activities, and it's always a big hit. As a Mom, I turn almost everything into a learning opportunity in a fun way. My son and I spend our time making "scientific observations" while we're outside, learning how to sing music scales inside, and we're always reading, asking questions, cooking, exploring, or just doing puzzles together.
My experience with kids, my work as a teacher, and my extensive reading on how to best care for children make me an ideal candidate to come to your home and have another responsible Mom look after your children this summer.
