Child Care Etc. is a small, Licensed California State Family childcare located in the heart of Irvine, CA. We have been offering families with infants through their toddler years, safe, loving care for their children since 1989.

Our staff is educated in Early Childhood Education and Pediatric Advanced Childcare Education. We are Infant/Child CPR& First Aid Certified, as well as Health & Safety Certified. Child Care Etc. is pleased to have a retired nurse as one of our caregivers. All our staff have had Live Scan State and Federal Background Check, Emergency Preparedness and Mandated Reporter training.

Child Care Etc. works daily to create a nurturing, loving educational foundation for each child but also to give our parents peace of mind, knowing that your baby and child will be safe and loved. Our program is a pre-preschool program, specializing in the care, education and nurturing of children ages 2 months to 4 years old. We encourage self-esteem, social skills and creativity through an emotionally enriched environment. Child Care Etc. program follows the Safe Sleep Mandates required by the State of California for infants and toddlers. Our policy follows the Flexible Feeding Plan created for each individual child by their parents.

We provide everything for your child except the food, formula and diapers. Children in this age group develop allergies and it is easier and safer for the parents to be in control of those needs. We provide all the learning materials your child will need daily, the art supplies, music and school supplies, outdoor play equipment, indoor play equipment, cribs, etc.
Our curriculum is designed to nurture you baby along their developmental milestones. We encourage the infusion of joy each day because we prioritize your child's emotional and physical development. We work with small and large motor development, creating confidence and independence. Our language development and literacy activities not only teach child to communicate but inspires creativity and brain development, encouraging social and verbal skills. We practice memory and hands on skills with our STEM math and science curriculum, opening doors for imagination. Our pretend play, arts and crafts, dance music and singing, as well as outdoor play allow your child to create, dream, express and engage with their imagination.
