About

Hi! I opened a holistic in-home daycare this September. After being a nanny for 15 years and a registered nurse, I want to bring the best care possible for parents interested in this type of daycare that might differ from most daycares. I am also an infant care specialist with training in breastfeeding support, sleep training and children w/ disabilities.
The in-home daycare has:
-heated floors
-green wave filters
-air purification system in place
-filtered water using Kohler
-Montessori inspired routine and teaching
-24 hr outdoor surveillance camera
-organic meals (breakfast and lunch)
-kids will have their own kid size toliet/sink
-yoga/meditation/mindfulness practices
-we have over 1000 books avail which we will read daily
-cribs,toddler beds, and a snoo available
-respectful of vegan and vegetarian raised children that need special food prep
-special food prep(gluten free, nut free, dairy free etc)
-My own child has benefited from these early principles that I have instilled at an early age and has been invited to Yale ,University of Chicago and others universities that helped enrich her education. I know for a fact that in out rapidly changing world children need to be introduce to early reading and writing and its starts from day 1 but also to learn to be of service to their community, the world and become mindful of their environment and to learn to practice meditation and breathing techniques that will help in each aspect of their life as they become adults.

Once my daycare licensed is approved, I will accept no more then 6 children as I want to keep my group small and give individual attention to each child. I am a registered nurse with an active license with the state of Illinois and I am an infant care specialist and took child psych courses at Loyola Univ.
Right now I am only looking to take care of
-3 children (licenses pending with State to allow for more)
-2 spots are filled and one is open for now.
Another spot will be open in Jan.
-full-time enrollment (12 hours each day 7am-6pm ideal for parents who have an early commute) 5 days/week
-6am start time is also available with an extra charge
-overnights available for parents work in the night , has an emergency and must leave kids somewhere , or parents would like a vacation without kids
-Discounts for overnights to first responders, nurses, cops, military etc.
-My husband is a retired police officer and we have 2 toy Yorkshire terriers that are friendly (hypoallergenic)
