Offering part-time nanny services for 1 child. I am currently a stay-at-home mom to a 17 month old boy and am looking for ways to supplement our houshold income and provide him with a playmate. My parenting/child care philosophy is one that is nurturing, patient, playful, and loving. I love to sing songs, read books, and teach children about nature. I'm a big believer in a healthy, varied, and organic diet, and try as much as possible to provide a safe and chemical-free environment. I also think that being knowledgable about behavioral development is critical to having appropriate expectations and interactions with children.
Rates are $10-15 per/hour. Care will be provided at your home or mine depending on discussion of our mutual needs.
When I'm not taking time time off to raise my son, I work as a research biologist.
