I opened my house to help families give there child a home away from home while parents are working or at school. I have 3 grown kids 30,27, and 20, also have a 4 and 6 yr old still at home. Kids are my passion I have worked in big centers did not much like it as it was not very personal as you really did not get a chance to know the family. It was more like here is the sign in sheet I will take your child and put him with the age group they are in. it seamed very cold not warm and inviting kids got care for like a flock of sheep. I like to keep things small and cozy like you are dropping your child off at Grandma's house. I serve home made meal and use the food pyramid as a guild we love lots of fruits and veggies low on sweets. I treat your child like family while in my care we hand out plenty of hugs and tickles TV is used very little, kids need to use the mind to grow so we play and share game ideas with one another. My hrs. are if you need me I am open I usually open at 6 am and close 6 pm. I have had kids show up at 5 :30 am and some go home at 12:30 am .
