About
Chelten Child Development Center offers morning preschool programs, as well as full day classes for children ages 9 months through age 5. We are licensed by the Department of Human Services and have been awarded a STAR 4 by Pennsylvania’s Keystone STARs program. Our qualified teachers plan large and small group activities to introduce and reinforce new concepts. Children learn through hands on activities planned by our qualified teachers. We offer music, art, dramatic play, science, blocks, and water/sand play outdoors, as well as indoors. Our literacy-rich classrooms are bright and roomy. Music/movement and Spanish classes, as well special events, enrich our curriculum. From the time your child enters the classroom, our loving staff enfolds them in a safe and caring “family” where he/she is nurtured and guided.
