Back to Basics, less is more, connect within and grow in Faith are ways to describe our approach at Chapel School. We believe that children learn best through play, which encompasses social skills, motor skills and is the basic foundation for all academic skills. Programs like Chapel Time, Yoga, Brain Gym, Music and Mindfulness also allow them to become deep thinkers, to be with and work through their emotions and to stay in the present moment. The Faith based component of our program guides children in knowing about God and His creations and how God's love can guide us to share that same love with others and encourage Kindness and Compassion for all.
"Class" time includes almost an hour outside where imaginations soar - and gross motor, fine motor and core muscles get a workout too!
Forest Day is a new program for us that allows students to spend 2 1/2 hours out in nature in Nashua's beautiful Mine Falls Park.
All practices at Chapel School are developmentally appropriate and we work to let students guide their own learning. The early years are the best time to develop a love of learning and to also guide students in learning to love themselves. With those 2 pieces in place - the sky is the limit when students move on their next educational experience.
