Central United Methodist Church offers a morning ministry and outreach program for children ages one to five through Central Weekday School.
Objectives: Provide children with a supervised program of play, art and music in a Christian environment; Challenge children to grow, learn and develop spiritually, mentally and physically; Teach children respect for themselves, classmates and teachers, and to extend that respect to home and community.
Mission: Central Weekday School is an extension of the Central United Methodist Church of Asheville and it's ministry to children and their families in our community. The school provides a loving, Christian atmosphere in which spiritual, social, mental, physical, and emotional development of young children take place. Through individual and group activities, the program provides each child the opportunity to develop a positive self-image.
