CBS's Early Childhood Education Center offers a warm, secure and nurturing environment where your child can grow and flourish to their full potential.

We recognize that parents are a child's primary teachers from day one. Our goal, therefore, is to maintain the highest level of cooperation and communication with parents. Together, we identify the multifaceted nature of the child, from social and emotional to cognitive and physical. We view these interconnected building blocks as critical for the healthy development of a whole, integrated human being.

CBS Preschool Staff includes our Early Childhood Director and credentialed, experienced teachers who are trained in early childhood and Jewish education. Their skill, talents, and abilities combine to meet the needs of preschoolers. Our staff receives annual CPR and safety training. Our curriculum and learning environment include materials and activities designed to provide your child with a successful learning experience. Our staff recognizes that each child needs to build a healthy self-concept: when children feel good about themselves, they can grow and develop with confidence.

At CBS, we promote the creative and intellectual development of each child in an atmosphere where each child's individuality is valued and nurtured.

Our Program Philosophy encourages each child to explore the world and relate to others in a social way. Our activity centers provide an environment enriched by equipment and materials, providing many opportunities for exploration, discovery, problem-solving, and creativity all building a foundation for joyous, non-competitive learning. We strongly believe in a balance between cognitive, academic and creative experiences.

Our child centered Learning Centers are organized along thematic lines. Teachers select arts, crafts, music, cooking and movement activities related to developmental levels. Children are given opportunities to develop a range of important skills: listening, emotional development, oral expression, large and small muscle development, hand-eye coordination and a love for music, art and the world around them.
