About
Hello! My name is Catherine. I am a mother of a 19 month old, a licensed english teacher, and my husband and I are resident homeowners in Williamsburg off Centerville Road. Child care centers can be a great fit for some families, but for others, a more small intimate family type setting is preferred. That is what I offer.
I know from experience that there is no greater peace of mind than to know that your child is being loved by someone as if they were their own while you are hard at work. My goal is to offer that same blessing to a small number of families in the Williamsburg area. In addition to providing a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for your child, I will provide opportunities for self-lead learning and exploration through play, as well as use my teaching background to provide engaging opportunities for mini-focused learning as your child approaches school-age.
In addition to holding a current VA teaching license and Master s degree in English Education, I have earned 12 college credit hours of Early Childhood Education. I recertified in Infant/Child CPR and first aid in May 2016. I have a current business license with James City County.
