Caterpillar Clubhouse

I grew up in a big family, so I first learned how to help take care of children really young. During high school I babysat many children. Throughout college I was a nanny for multiple families over the course of 4 years. I now have my associates degree with many different classes and credits in Early Childhood Education. I take an authoritative approach to childcare, meaning that I believe in nurturing children a bunch but also standing my ground and having expectations. I believe in redirection rather than discipline at such a young age. In my home daycare I have a structured schedule that I stick to each day. Throughout the day I do many educational structured activities as a group, as well as free play time. There will be many activities that will help children develop mentally, physically(by doing things that help their hand and eye coordination as well as motor skills), socially(by working in groups), and emotionally. There will be a nap/quiet time after lunch for 2 hours and once the weather permits there will be outside play time as well. I am open Monday through Friday from 6am-6pm.
