Catbells Home Daycare

Catbells is a flexible program, focused on creating a nurturing environment that will enrich the lives of young children. Owned and operated by Diana Theriault, it is fully licensed as a home daycare. Diana began working with children when her daughter was about a year old. She started as a teaching assistant in the Step By Step (two's transition) program at Xanadu Family Center. After a short time, she began designing her own curriculum for a program called Play To Learn. Upon Xanadu's closing, Diana designed and taught a private class to several children from the Xanadu program. When her son was born, she began teaching a baby class geared toward offering developmentally appropriate activities to children under a year, while helping mothers to connect with other mothers. Diana has worked as a nanny to a family in Cheshire with three children, and has designed and taught after school art classes at Bear Path Elementary.
