About the business
I've been in the professional pet-care world since I was very young. I began volunteering at my local animal control center and humane society when I was around 13, and was hired on full time at the humane society when I was 14. I was responsible for maintaining, cleaning, and caring for the 200+ cats, and 10+ dogs on the property alone on weekends, from around 8 a.m. until about 6 p.m. I also worked afternoons and after hours as an adoption representative and fundraiser. I have extensive experience within a small veterinary clinic, animal welfare of all types (small pets, cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, horses, exotics, etc), training, and humane practices. I have excellent references from current and past employers, and co-workers, both working in the animal care field and out, including veterinarians and pet owners.
