Carrie's Critters

My name is Carrie Johnson. I have 4 children ages 14, 9, 6 and almost 2. I have stayed home with my children for the past 10+ years. I stay home with my youngest during the day. She is almost 2 and is in need of some playmates. I would like to offer childcare to benefit us both. :) As a family, my husband and I enjoy spending time with our kids, bike riding, hiking and being outdoors in general. We are involved in sports and church. I worked for as a pediatric nurse for 11 years before I decided to stay home with my kids. It gave me much needed experience and confidence with all children. My husband of 15 years works in Boise as a Structural Engineer. We just bought a house in Meridian over Christmas break and love it here.

We have a large backyard, community parks, schools are close. We also have a large playroom with girl and boy toys. I focus a lot of my time on fun learning with my children and will do the same with yours. Age appropriate reading and activities are a must. I will work with them on letters, numbers and reading. We often have music on but TV time is very limited. During the winter, we have cartoons on in the morning and maybe watch a movie during the day.

**I do NOT have a daycare license and do not plan to get one. I am simply wanting friends for my little one and making some extra cash as a benefit. There are many things that I will do differently than most.**

--You MUST be ok with them driving in the car with me. I drive a big SUV and they will be properly restrained at all times.
--You MUST be ok with trips to the park, store, school and anywhere we would like to venture. You will never pay extra for trips that I choose to take them on (zoo, aquarium, movies, etc.) We WILL be taking fun trips, especially in the summer. You will be informed of all planned trips.
--Your child must be ok with pets. We have a big dog. He is VERY tame and incredibly friendly.
--You will not pay for my vacations or yours. I do not believe in paying for care that you do not get.
--I am ok with sick children. Every child sometimes has a cough, runny nose or fever. These make for fun movie and game days. I can handle it.
--I charge $20 per day for most children...less for older.

All meals, snacks, trips, crafts, etc. are included. The only thing not included is diapers and wipes if needed and formula for infants. I am flexible with payment dates.
