Carolyn's House

My husband and I have been married for 22 years and have 3 children ages 14, 8, and 5. We are an active family who enjoys camping, hiking, fishing, biking and canoeing in the summer. Together, we also care for a small orchard in our back yard. My husband is a self taught musician and can play guitar, mandolin, banjo and ukulele. He enjoys sharing his love for music with the children. I like to bake and cook from scratch and also enjoy making our own soaps, laundry detergent, and lotions. In addition to helping with the small business we own and operate, I also bake about 10 loaves of bread per week! My husband and I are passionate about Young Living Essential Oils as well. Our oldest son has always been interested in sustaining the environment. He is currently building a compost bin for his garden. He has many starter plants growing already. The seeds for these were harvested from the plants we ate. Someday he would like to go into engineering. Our daughter would like to be a nurse. She is loving and compassionate. An avid dancer and swimmer. She is a best friend to her little brother. Our youngest son is the jokester in the family. Even as a tiny tot he had an incredible sense of humor. He always has a joke at the ready and laughs easily. Our family enjoys having children around, and are looking at becoming licensed. We would like to provide a small, but high quality, family based childcare for children in our community ages 4+. We would like to serve the before and after school needs of families during the week, in addition to all day summer care. We may also be available to help with all day care on the days that schools are closed, or times when your regular provider is on vacation. Contact us just to drop in. We might be around to help on Saturdays as well. We are looking forward to meeting you and sharing some of the wonderful things we've found this world has to offer with your children! We are located in Sartell near Pine Meadow Elementary and Sartell Middle School.
