Carolina Hearts Home Care began operations in the fall of 2005 in Scotland County, North Carolina. Since that time, Carolina Hearts has grown into a company that serves clients in nine counties in North Carolina. (Scotland, Richmond, Robeson, Anson, Montgomery, Moore, Lee, Hoke and Harnett).

Carolina Hearts Home Care is an in-home care provider offering personal care services in Scotland and surrounding counties. We offer companion/sitting services and hands on care. We specialize in dementia related illnessesand have a certified dementia specialist on staff. With our companion/sitting services (Level 1), our caregivers will perform basic home management task, such as housekeeping, cooking, shopping, and bill paying. This level of care also includes basic transportation and errand services Our Hands On Care are (Level 2), our caregivers will provide support to individuals and families requiring assistance with basic activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, toileting, ambulation, feeding, etc. This level of care also includes home management task listed in our level 1 services. Carolina Hearts accepts Medicaid, Long Term Care Insurance and Private Pay. Carolina Hearts Home Care completes a detailed and thorough orientation and training on each caregiver selected as an employee. We manage their tuberculosis screenings, CPR certifications, CNA credentials annually. We complete criminal background checks via Checker, an online criminal background database, every (2) years and a background check through the Office of Inspector General Exclusion List every year.
