Carol's Home Daycare

Welcome to Carol's Home Daycare! Where your child will receive personal and individualized care in a safe, nurturing home. I am a stay at home mom, who has made a career decision to open up my home and welcome your children to become part of an extended family.

I have more than 10 years experience in childcare. My family has ran a family home daycare since I was a child and I have worked in my family's business until I left for college. I have experience with newborns- 12 year olds. Previously to opening my daycare, I have worked for a well established non-profit after obtaining my bachelors degree in Government and International Politics. Being a mom, changed my view in life, and made me decide to open my home to your children.

In my program, I have a flexible schedule where your child will learn through play and develop his/her own individuality. Children will participate in age appropriate activities daily, to include arts and crafts, music, movement, outdoor play, free play. I also have a curriculum and circle time for learning. I have a bilingual home where your children will have the chance to learn spanish.

I have my Fairfax county child care permit, which to obtain my entire household had to go through background tests, TB tests. I am also CPR & First Aid and Medical Administration Training Certified. I offer home made nutritious meals for all children over one year old.

I have openings for children 6 weeks- 5 years. I am also available for weekend care and parents night out care with advanced notice.

I look forward to meeting your family and to providing the best care possible for your child. I myself have been a working mother and know the feeling of leaving a child under someone else's care. I want to make sure that you know that I know how serious and responsible one must be with children and want you to feel confident that your child will be safe and happy in my care.
