Carmen's Learning Tree

Carmen's Learning Tree is home child care. My name is Carmen Allison and I am a certified licensed teacher here in TN, I have also taught in WV prior to moving here in Sevierville. I have taught special needs children for thirteen years in both TN and WV. I have a Masters Degree in Special Education (Multi-Categorical K-Adult). I love children and found that teaching jobs were hard to come by after our move. I decided to have a daycare at home that is education based. I will have a schedule of things for my kids to do. It will be structured just like a pre-school/Kindergarten setting. I will serve breakfast, lunch, and a snack every day Monday-Friday. It will begin at 6:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Of course if anyone should need to bring their child earlier or later just let me know and we can work out arrangements. Since I am just beginning, I'm not sure when I will be opening but it will be soon! My hopes is for mid July or earlier. I have a five year old son named Jerico Dawson Allison and a thirteen year old daughter named Ciera Danette Allison. I have been married to my wonderful husband for fifteen years and love teaching children of all ages. Both my husband and I will be here in our home and will work together to provide care for the children we serve. In the future we may have more people to assist us but right now it will just be us. I hope to hear from you soon! We live in a nice subdivision that is very friendly and quiet. We have good neighbors and it is a very safe environment.
