I am a Certified Veterinary Assistant, who worked for a Clinic for 9 years. I started in-home petsitting because of my love for animals and wanted to take my training a different way. I do not do boarding, I come to your home to care for them, pets are more comfortable in there own surroundings.
I do a pre-consult to get all your pets information on feeding, health problems, things they like to do, walks, playing, etc. I do customized visits 1-4 visits daily for your pets! As well as the Petsitting, I offer Puppy Playtime checks where I can work on some basic training, working on walking on leash, of course I use the same commands they are being taught by you as to not confuse them.
I try to keep your pets schedule as close to what they are used to, feeding times, etc.
For animals with medical needs I am trained to do those as well, I can do Insulin injections for Diabetic Pets as well as Sub-Q Fluids for pets with Kidney Disease and of course Oral Medications for any other needs. I watch pets closely for any other sickness while you are away and keep in contact with the local Veterinary Clinics. Watching and checking your home is also a big part of my business so I get info about your home, you never know when a problem may arise when your not home. I also water plants and pick up mail if needed. My fees vary depending on where you live and how long it takes to do the job. I do not charge per pet I only charge for my time.
