About the business
The Caring Connection is a community based medical model adult day health center designed to meet the needs of functionally impaired adults through a structured and safe daytime program.
We provide opportunities for social interaction, maximize independence, improve quality of life through programming that challenges the mind, body and spirit, prevents or postpones nursing home placement, and enables respite time for caregivers.
The program includes: door to door transportation, meaningful therapeutic recreation programming, nutrition program, medical supervision by licensed professional nurses, and podiatry services on site (on a fee for service basis).
We work with the CT HomeCare Program for Elders, North Central Area Agency on Aging, Veteran's Association, and private foundations to find assistance for our clients and their family caregivers with the payment of the daily fees.
Open Monday - Friday, 7 AM to 4:30 PM.
