Care's Summer Daycare

Hi Everyone!

My name is Caroline and I have been a babysitter, nanny, and care-taker since I was in 7th grade, and I am now a Junior at Boston College studying Elementary Education and Applied Psychology and Human Development!
Childcare has always been the biggest passion of mine, and I am looking forward to being a kindergarten-second grade teacher in the future! I decided to start an at-home daycare program this summer because I have student taught and managed classrooms of 15+ students by myself and have worked in 6 different classrooms ranging from preschoolers to third graders. Though I loved my years as a babysitter, I am looking forward to and am 100% ready for the challenge and responsibility of having my own little summer 'classroom' at my home this year!

I will be running a small, intimate daycare this summer at my home in Wellesley MA. There will be 6 different sessions, 3 in JUNE and 3 in AUGUST (I am studying abroad in Rome during most of July!). Each session will be 4 days long, with June sessions being TUESDAY through FRIDAY and August sessions being MONDAY through THURSDAY.

Care's Summer Daycare will be 'open' from the hours of 11am to 5pm, and parents are welcome to drop off/pick up their child at any time between those hours! Parents may also drop a child off for a fews hours, pick them up for an errand or a nap, and bring them back if it is before 5pm- I am very flexible!

My home has a nice sized backyard that is fully fenced in with a patio and a lawn. There will be activities outside in the backyard, but also in my fully furnished basement as well (especially for those rainy summer days)!
OUTSIDE activities will include: a sand table, blow-up l kiddie pool, sidewalk(patio) chalk, soccer balls, wiffle ball, mini basketball, hulla-hoops, a water table, bubbles, a play sized ball pit, music and dancing, and lots more!
INDOOR activities will include: arts and crafts, beading, legos, board games, mats for napping/resting, books, etc.

Each session will be limited to 6 CHILDREN, and the spots will fill up quickly!
(you do not need to sign up for every session, nor every day of every session you have signed up for)
Once you have expressed your interest, I am more than happy to come to your home and meet your child(ren) and get to know you and your family before you commit to signing up and letting me enjoy some warm summer days with your little ones!

The price is $200 per child, per session (each session is 4 days long)
