Looking for childcare this summer? Would you like help that feels like home? I understand the level of excellence in childcare that every parent (including me) wants for his or her child. I would be honored to provide that quality of care for your family. I would love to speak with you about your child as well as your wants and needs.
I am the mother of two boys (ages 5 and 11). I am lucky enough to be home with them this summer doing the regular "kid thing" including the park, pool, arts & crafts, reading, etc. I provide childcare at our place. I do not have a home daycare... I care for one family at a time. I am able to come to your house. Because my kids are with me, it is often easier for children to come to our home. The kids I care for look forward to playing with me as well as my children. This also allows you to work from home or finish up housework without your "little helper". We have access to a playground and two swimming pools within walking distance.
In addition to summer care, I am also available for date nights and weekends. Continuing care (on a part-time basis) is an option throughout the school year as well. Hourly rate is $15/hr. Christian family. Nonsmoking home. Great location in Cool Springs. We have a friendly, hypoallergenic dog (Wheaten Terrier/Poodle).
Personal History: I have lived in the Franklin/Brentwood area for 25 years. I have a nursing background. I am currently pursuing a graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology. In addition to experience as a mother, I have been watching children for 15 years. Some of the children who I cared for as toddlers are now heading off to college. I have also worked for our church providing childcare as needed over the past 12 years. Others describe me as thoughtful, nurturing, and creative. I love to laugh. My hobbies include reading, running outdoor trails, and painting. I believe that play is truly the work of children. I am known for doing fun activities and keeping busy. I take pride in providing excellent care.
