Use individualized service plans in the provision of services including observation of behavioral changes.

Encourage friendly conversations, companionship, sitting, play games, grooming, bath, dressing, reading, medication reminders, outings/errands, apparel selections and grocery shopping bill payment entertainment

Housekeeping services: dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, laundry and kitchen duties including following dietary/nutritional plans recommended by service providers, adhering to mealplans/preparations, reviewing and monitoring recommendations, cleaning bathroom, refrigerators, ovens, kitchen counters, prepare grocery lists. Assist with referral services to CT Legal Aids, housing issues/courts, DSS/SSI/SSDI, SNAP/TITLE 19, money management/budgeting, senior/geriatric services, transportation/accompany to medical/therapeutic facilities, visits to senior centers, gym, movies/plays/entertainments and bill payments. Assist with correspondence, send cards/letter writing. Encourage human interactions, sight-seeing, short walks, taking up arts/crafts/hobbies. Medical/hair/stylish appointment scheduling. Encouragement of healthy lifestyle, visiting with other family members/friends to encourage outings and embracing of positive lifestyle interactions. Assist with ADL Skills, keep clients safe and encourage recreational activity. Client liaison to community/providers of private/public services. Daily, weekly phone calls to out of State family members, reassure them of client safety/comfort-ability. We have patient-focused empathetic/compassionate, optimistic/experienced caregivers. Jane Ohenhen, founder of Cardy Group Home Care has a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Capella University in Minneapolis, MN. Received training by CDC personnel for New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene in disease control. Author of children's book. Worked in human services for over 25 years, the last 17 years with individuals diagnosed with profound mental health issues as a mental-health counselor. Received numerous training on seniors aging-in-place, seniors health, mental health disorders from Connecticut State Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services. Cardy Group Home Care staff are experienced nurses and certified nurses aid with over a century combined dedicated and caring services for the elderly and individuals recuperating in their own homes, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and group homes
