About Cara Bean:
Age 35, 13 years experience as a stepmom, 11 years experience as godmother to 3 boys, and over 20 years experience as an aunt, loving caregiver and role model to children of all ages. Recently left a successful 10 year office career to pursue passion and dedication to child development. There is nothing more important to me than the past, present and future of children.
Education: Studied Foundations in Education, Psychology, Childhood to Adolescence Psychology, Children's Literature, and graduate courses in Counseling.
Building on child development that starts at home and partnering with families, I strive to help each child reach his or her full potential. By listening and observing children's words, behavior, body language and interactions, I am able to help them thrive. Finding activities that suit their interests and abilities, as well as encouraging them through challenges which promote growth.
