We are a small, in-home center based in Northwest Loveland specifically serving teachers' children. Capable Hands is owned & operated by a certified elementary education teacher with over 15 years of teaching experience. We are a licensed (will receive official license in June of 2022) and insured provider of high quality care. We accept students aged 6 months - 6 years. Please reach out for more information!
Philosophy
Children are capable of so much when provided with ample modeling, scaffolds, and space to practice. At Capable Hands, young children are invited to contribute as helpers, learn from each other, and practice taking risks in a safe environment. This dynamic empowers young children, creating curious learners with a sense of purpose, resilience, and community.
Note: Our calendar is based on the Thompson School District, Poudre School District, and Loveland Classical Schools calendar, meaning we're closed for the winter holidays, for spring break, and for a handful of weeks in the summer.
