Canyon Child Care

As a mother and a childcare provider, I know the anxiety that comes with leaving your child in another person's care and trusting them to provide the care you know your child deserves. My oldest son is three and my youngest is almost a year old. After deciding to stay home with my children, I decided that I wanted to be someone parents could count on being there when they needed quality care for their children. I have completed childcare coursework through the state of Florida and am a licensed in home day care provider. My company is Canyon Child Care. I am certified in Infant/Child First Aid and CPR and am always continuing my education through online coursework, workshops and seminars intended for childcare professionals.

As a licensed in home family day care, everyone living in my home as well as any assistant/substitute or enrichment provider has to go through rigorous background screening including fingerprinting and health examinations. Our home has annual fire inspections and is inspected by the health department at least four times a year. These visits are surprise visits. Every year, we must reapply for our license.

I have always enjoyed spending time with children and have developed a passion for learning how to provide true quality care for the children I work with. The education and experience I have gained has provided me with the necessary skills to provide the best possible care for young children.

At Canyon Child Care, our mission is to provide a safe, loving, family like environment where children can grow and develop to their full potential. Our group size is limited to six children.
