Camp Stewart for Boys is the oldest continually operated camp in the Southwest. Open since 1924 and located on the banks of the sparkling Guadalupe River in Hunt, Texas, Camp Stewart is a historic part of the gorgeous Hill Country. Run since 1966 by the Ragsdale Family, Camp Stewart boasts quality, traditional camping while offering home-cooked cuisine and outstanding facilities. Some activities we offer are: Archery, Arts and Crafts, Canoeing, Campcraft, Fencing, Golf, Horseback (English and Western), Polocrosse, Riflery, Sports, Tennis, Swimming, Ceramics, Leather Work, Climbing Wall, Pedal Carts and so much more!
Camp Stewart is an all-boys camp. However, our sister camp Heart O' the Hills for Girls, is located 5 miles away and is run by Jane Ragsdale.
