Camp Holiday Trails

Camp Holiday Trails is a caring community committed to empowering, encouraging, and educating children with chronic illnesses, their families and healthcare professionals. CHT is a co-ed residential camp experience and campers range in age from 5 to 17, who are cognitively on age.

Camp Holiday Trails celebrates the camper, not their illness. We offer an active program that engages our campers in activities such as: archery, arts and crafts, challenge course and climbing wall, drama, music, swimming, canoeing, fishing, athletics, organized games, and wilderness education.

Campers are given the opportunity to interact with others who have medical conditions both similar to and very different from their own. Some (but not all!) of the medical diagnoses accepted at CHT are: arthritis, heart disease, asthma, GI disorders, sickle cell anemia, cystic fibrosis, kidney disease, hemophilia, diabetes, organ transplant, immunodeficiency, HIV, cerebral palsy, cancer and epilepsy.
