Camp Eagle

Headwaters (commonly known as Hdub!) is the way for your camper to experience Camp Eagle this summer. We have something for every 8-16 year old girl and boy to love. If it's not the crystal clear Nueces River, adventure activities, or new friends then it is our incredibly loving and Christ-like staff that pour out night and day into your camper. Our extensive training teaches our staff how to develop and deepen in your camper a love for outdoor adventure, authentic relationships, and biblical truth. Our desire is for every camper to have the best experience of his or her summer as they grown their faith in God's great Son. This is what keeps campers coming back summer after summer.

During camp, campers are able to choose a specialty activity track, which offers a more tailored and personalized activity time. Wildside focuses on shooting and outdoor skills with activities like archery, riflery, and fishing. Cliffside features the climbing and cliff adventures, like rappelling, natural rock climbing, and our one-of-a-kind Sherpa Trek. Mountainside is for those who enjoy mountain biking and other downhill fun on mountain scooters, mountain boards, BMX bikes, big hit bikes, and dirt jumpers. Artside is for the creative camper who wants to craft using the outdoor arts. Extreme is for the camper who wants a taste of all the activity tracks, allowing them to see all that Camp Eagle has to offer.

Campers are split by gender into climate-controlled log cabins containing built in restrooms with other campers of similar age. There are 12 campers per cabin with 2 fully trained counselors to maintain a 6:1 ratio. Though our age range is 8-16, campers are typically split into cabin groups of 8-10 year olds, 11-13 year olds, and 14-16 year olds.

Intentional programming is what we are all about. Biblical themes come alive through daily cabin Bible studies, Morning Chaos, and the Evening Experience that directly relate to that day's activities and fun.
