COMPANIONSHIP
Companionship is important because it provides emotional support andminimal assistance for those who live independently and would prefer to stay in their homes. It also gives caregivers a well- deserved break. Our companionship services offer assistance with: -Meal preparation and cooking -Light housekeeping, (Mop, sweep, vacuum, laundry) -Assistance with selecting clothes for the day -Running errands -Medication Reminders -Respite or Relief of Family -Recreational activities to increase mental stimulation and dispel loneliness -Accompanying to doctor's appointments -Exercising -Pet Care PERSONAL CARE AIDE We are committed to our clients maintaining their independence and remaining in their homes as long and as safely as possible. Our team of well-trained Personal Care Aides can assist with this mission. Our personal care services include most, if not all, of our Companionship services but other duties include: -Ambulation assistance -Assistance with feeding -Transferring -Toileting -Incontinence Care -Hygiene assistance (Dressing, showering, bathing, grooming * All Companions are screened thoroughly by our administration team, are all certified by the state of VA, and all undergo a background check! We love our Companions and only select the best to work for you and your families. RESPITE CARE Being a caregiver is a full-time commitment that can become stressful if not managed appropriately with frequent breaks or quality alone-time. We offer temporary, planned or emergency care for caregivers and their family members.…
