Calculating Minds Math Learning Center is located in Farragut, TN. We are a local business, established by two local math teachers who want to increase students' math knowledge while boosting their math confidence. We work with students from pre-school age through college (ACT prep).

We ensure children have a solid foundation by identifying gaps, understanding your child's learning needs, meeting them where they are and taking them where they need to go. We provide personal attention to each student. We work one-on-one with every student and keep any group learning to very small groups.

Unlike other tutoring centers, we do not rely heavily on technology to 'teach' math. Your child will have direct instruction, take notes, play games and come to deeply understand mathematical concepts. We strongly believe that to learn math, you must do math!

Can your student keep up without math help if schools go to online learning? Online learning requires a much higher level of self-discipline and is simply more work for students and teachers alike. Are students and teachers prepared for this?

Math is cumulative, falling behind can make it difficult to catch back up. Fundamental math skills are also important to success later in life. Most importantly, repeated under-performance in math can seriously impact self esteem.
