I'm now offering childcare in my home here in Shelburne. I have a love for working with children and several years of care experience, as well as a 2-year-old of my own. I truly enjoy spending my time with kids, helping them to learn and to care for them. I've worked as a nanny for a family of 3; a preschool art teacher; an art, French, & culinary arts teacher at an independent school; a one-on-one aide for a child with special needs; and most recently as a children's librarian offering early childhood programming. I have a Montessori inspired approach and I would offer your child lots of imaginative play, art projects, music, cooking, and time outside in our large backyard and woods. My sweet and caring 2-year-old daughter would also love all of the social interaction time as well. I also host a toddler art playgroup once a week that your child would be able to participate in. My home is set up to be very child friendly with all natural toys, lots of books, and all the necessities for childcare (safety gates, outlet covers, booster chair, etc.) I have a very flexible schedule & would ideally like to care for 1 or 2 kids for 20+ hours/week.
