C Cares For Kids

My name is Catherine and my motto is "Catherine Cares For Your Kids!" I provide a happy, creative, and uplifting experience in in-home daycare in North Phoenix. I am just starting this business but have been in the child-care business all of my life. Having been raised in a Christian home and being the third of seven children, I did a lot of child-rearing while growing up. Having three children of my own, I have continued to exercise that talent. I have a bachelor's degree in secondary education, specializing in French and U.S. History. I taught at the levels of elementary, junior high, and high school until having children of my own at which time I chose to stay home to educate and raise them! I continue to teach music each Sunday to 150+ kids in our church's youth program and have had multiple different experiences as a teacher of many different subjects in all areas of life. I have always loved being a positive influence in the lives of my students, and now look forward to providing quality care for young children in my home day-care. It is such a stage of discovery and adventure, and I look forward to everything we will learn together! I'd like to keep my daycare small in number, which provides better attention and atmosphere for all children present. I am looking to start with one to two full time children and gradually move up to a maximum of five. I will take children from ages 1 to 5. I am open to part time needs as well. Each day will follow a simple routine, with a different theme. Your child will come home happy daily, having had some structure, some play time, some quiet time, some music time each week, lots of reading and singing, an art project a week, a focus on a letter each week, a baking day, and trips to the park as well as special holiday excitement : all fun adventures in our home that will be simple, yet uplifting. I encourage children to use manners and be kind and develop happy principles for a healthy, giving life. I will provide lunch and a snack each day and may ask for a single snack donation once a month to replenish my supply. I am in the process of renewing my First Aid and CPR certification and fingerprint clearance card. Hours will be 7 to 5 Monday through Friday.
