Butterfly Kisses

Hi my name is Kristie. I am a 38 year old Christian mother of two wonderful children who are 7 & 9, & a Pediatric nurse. I would like to take the summer off to spend time with the kids and work as a nurse on a call-in basis. I am very excited to provide Summer Child Care in my home. (If all goes well I would like to continue child care in my home during the school year as well.)
I have been babysitting and taking care of children for over 25 years! I have been in the medical field for 20 years this year.
I know how costly daycare centers can be, I will be below those prices. Your cost here will depend on how many hours, amount of children, day or night hours. If you have more than one child I will give you a "discounted rate". Meals & snacks will be included in your cost.
Almost all hours are available during the week as well as some weekends. I know first hand how difficult it can be to find a sitter for jobs with unconventional hours. All ages are welcome. I am CPR certified with BLS and ACLS.
I am also able to take care of children with special needs. Some examples are (but not limited to) Feeding tubes (all types) monitors, preemies, oxygen, trachs.
I will watch your child if they are sick.
We like to spend a lot of time out doors during the summer & at the pool. You can get your own pool pass or add your child on to my pass. My house is within walking distance to the park, library & pool. We will go on field trips. I will provide the food, I will ask for the cost of admission if there is one. We will do crafts, play games, go fishing, the list is endless.I have a large play room with different age appropriate toys. We will also do some learning activities, fun of course, but I still want to keep the kids thinking. :)
I had to have a clear background check to obtain and maintain my nursing license. I also have my fingerprints on file. If you would like me to have an additional background check I have no problem with that. There is an open door policy when your children are here. Meaning you don't have to knock or call to let me know you are on your way. I am so excited to start off the summer with a great group of kids. ** I chose the name "Butterfly kisses" after a little boy with many medical issues that passed away in 2000. I had the pleasure of taking care of. He loved butterflies and every time I see one, I think of him and smile.**
