Buttercup Tots

Our Mission since 1997 is:
- To provide a warm, safe and fun learning environment for children
- To care and guide children like we do with our own family
- To ensure family members that their loved ones are in good hands while they maintain their work-life balance

I grew up in Queens but now reside in Jersey City. After a long and careful decision I have decided to move back to Queens and start a Group Family Day Care. My passion is truly for giving back to the community I grew up in and making a difference in a child's early development. I had babysitting experience since I was 12 years old teaching, bathing, and caring two of my cousins since they were newborn. At 16 years old, my niece came along and I was once again able to provide my sister child care help. In addition to caring for young children, I worked for Sport and Arts in Schools Foundation at Flushing High School as the after school program tutor. I provided New York State Regent exam help along with the daily homework help on high school subject such as America History, Biology, Algebra, and English.

Like the old saying goes It takes a village to raise a child . Children are very impressionable at a young age and my goal is to bring my skill sets to ButtercupTots daycare each and everyday, which will give your child the love of a happy home and community we have built. I speak Chinese (Cantonese), English and have knowledge of American Sign Language, which I believe will be a plus for Buttercup Tots daycare as it exposes your child with culture and diversity.

My very goal is to open a Daycare center in the future so I can continue my passion to give back to my community and work with working parents to see their child s growth and development.
