I hold two Masters degrees, one in Child Development and Clinical Child Psychology and a second in Early Childhood Education. I have over 10 years of experience working with typically developing children as well as those with special needs in a public school, private school. clinical, and home setting. My greatest experience comes from raising my two beautiful young girls Lily (2) and Emily(1). Our family home is equipped with a full preschool, set up to meet the NAEYC standards for high quality environment. I adhere to the NAEYC's Developmentally Appropriate Practice standards in my instructional plans and interactions with young children. For children over the age of two, I also use the Common Core Standards to develop lesson plans and activities to help prepare young children for their more formal education years.
