Welcoming ages 5 weeks- 4 years old. Busy Bees is beginning its 10th year of providing loving, attentive, dependable care in an educational environment.
With daily story time, music time, group time, individualized meal times, serene nap times, and one on one attention, infants flourish in their days spent in my care. Infant sign taught to the babies is an excellent method I use to give the babies the skills to communicate earlier than they would use spoken language.
Toddlers and older children enjoy all of the same fun routines as the infants with added craft time and more in depth introductions to letters, shapes, colors, numbers, and activities to ready them for a great start in kindergarten. Most children who spend their younger days at Busy Bees enter preschool already knowing the entire alphabet, numbers 1-10, all colors, and 8 shapes. We incorporate learning into our play in addition to more structured learning activities.
Daily report sheets are sent home to let the parents know all about their child's day. Text message and picture updates are sent during the day as well.
Occasional announced field trips to parks, the zoo, children's museums and other child friendly places are exciting events for the children. Permission forms for transportation are found in the entrance packets.
Each child has a folder with emergency information, permission forms, and other forms to ensure that I can care for your child as you wish and act quickly in case of an emergency situation.
Infant/Adult CPR and First Aid certified.
