Philosophy:

Busy Bees philosophy is that early childhood should be a time for exploration and discovery. Children should be allowed to develop at their own pace supported and guided to reach their full potential while maintaining a happy healthy self-esteem. Our purpose is to provide an atmosphere where your child can grow physically, social-emotionally, creatively, and intellectually. Busy Bees wants all children to feel that this is their home away from home, where they can be themselves in a secure, nurturing and learning environment. We follow a daily routine that provides structure in a learn through play setting with an integrated preschool curriculum that allows children to think for themselves, make good choices and express themselves in a positive way.

About Busy Bees Childcare:

We are a home daycare and preschool that provides children with a warm and safe place to be themselves and learn. We are liability insured, CPR certified, and Live Scan finger printed. Busy Bees participates in the California child care food program. Our home is a one level single family home with a backyard filled with play structures suited for toddlers to the age 12.

We are located in Antioch California less than five minutes from the Hwy 4 on-ramps going toward Oakland, Sacramento, and the Antioch Bridge.

We provide transportation to and from Orchard Park School in Oakley California, as well as other Antioch Schools.

Our busy bees are offered a variety of opportunities to explore and learn through play, meet new friends and go on field trips to farms to enjoy hayrides, farm animals, and pick fruits and vegetables. In the summer we go to Kids Movie Festival, Contra Loma Park for swimming, (life jackets are provided by the pool facility), and picnics at our local park.

Your child will build socialization skills, hand eye coordination, large and fine motor skills, extended verbal vocabulary, and manners while having fun being a part of Busy Bee's Family!

What we offer as a provider:

-Pickup and drop off services.

-Live Scan, CPR, and First Aid certified employees.

-Extended normal hours 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

-Special arrangement care on some Holidays, special parent nights, emergencies, weekends and over night care.
