BunBun Play Care is a personal yet professional dog walking, pet sitting and pet care service based in Pasadena, California, and the Los Angeles Area. Beyond that, we believe in providing custom care tailored to the needs of your animals because there is not such thing as one size fits all. "An understood dog is a good dog, but a happy dog is a great dog" is our philosophy and our approach.

A note from the owner:

Hi! I'm Terra, owner of BunBun Play Care. I started BunBun Play Care because I understand how important it is to know that your animals are properly cared for and exercised according to their individual mental, emotional, physical and spiritual needs. I've owned animals all my life. Actually, that isn't quite true. I've owned animals all of my life with the notable exception of a short, agonizing stint my first year after graduating from college. After nearly roping and taming a squirrel in the park, I adopted BunBun (aka Onion) from Colonel Potter's Cairn Rescue Network (CPCRN). It was love at first site, but there were of course issues as he was rescued. His issue? First, his confidence and trust, second, his exuberance, third, developing obedience without losing the first two. BunBun was a complete 180 from the dogs I had cared for in college. In contrast, they had energy, Energy, energy. I would spend hours out with Frisbee, hiking, or playing at the beach trying to move their feet enough to keep them sane and it is this distinct contrast and required change in my approach that has helped me approach each dog, each cat and each animal as an individual. My goal is to help them be their happiest self because "an understood dog is a good dog but a happy dog is a great one." That is my promise and commitment to you.
