Building Blocks Avon (formerly Tender Care Learning Center of Avon) is the cozy, ideal home-away-from-home for your child. Our teachers and staff know each child by name, and carry unique talents and approaches to teaching that resonate in astounding ways. With a focus on play-based learning, our structured STEM-based activities inspire children to question the world around them, and discover answers for themselves. Building Blocks Avon is conveniently located off Route 44 and provides easy access to I-84 and I-384. We proudly serve families from Avon and the bordering towns of Farmington, Canton, Unionville, and Simsbury.

Building Blocks Avon has committed to accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) as the measurement of our program excellence.
