Brown Bear Childcare

Licensed home childcare center providing specialized care. I take the time to know your child and nurture proper growth and development. Featuring 1800 square feet of play space with a separate entrance from the home. I care for 6 children up to 5 years of age with the occasional drop-in after school child. I develop curriculum based on the individual child's needs. We do learning through organized activities as well as play. For infants, that would include singing, tactile exploration, tummy time, etc. As the child grows older, working on language, motor skills, encouraging curiosity and problem solving. I also focus on Kindergarten readiness. I have a degree in education with a minor in speech therapy and have been certified in vision therapy. To provide a well-rounded experience we include weekly music and cooking classes and quarterly field trips.
