My mother needed care in the memory unit so my father chose to live in the same room with her although he did not need the same assisted care. The Broadmore staff worked closely with both of them to give them the care my mother needed and to try to make it as bearable as possible for my dad. He was grateful to be with her during her last few months. The staff really made an effort toward both of them and then helped my dad with the transition to another room when my mother passed. We all felt cared for during a difficult time.
The facility is clean, sometimes a little understaffed, but most everyone gives their best attention to the residents every day.
