All of our programs and classes are designed to prepare your children for future success in elementary school. All of the Early Learning Standards and Developmental Guidelines are followed by the teachers in each classroom in respect to age appropriate learning activities. Your child will receive the best Early Education and Care at Bright Stars Academy. Our After School Tutoring Program for Grades 1 - 6 will help your child be more successful in elementary school.
Social experiences are offered as well as an engaging academic curriculum that stresses the development of skills and group compatibility. Cooperation and sharing are vital social development building blocks. Size and space relationships encourage mathematical and logical thinking processes. Creative building allows children to imagine a block pattern and make it real.
We accept each child as a unique person. Every child's social, emotional, physical and intellectual needs will be nurtured with care, kindness and understanding. Teachers assist and support the choices that children make, sometimes expanding and challenging them with the addition of equipment, materials or ideas. A Complete, Academic Based Curriculum is used in Every Classroom.
Outside play and exploration is encouraged everyday, weather permitting, by taking the children into their own playground that has age and size appropriate toys and equipment.
Problem solving and manipulative processes are a vital part of early childhood development. Many opportunities are available for cooperation, problem solving and decision making through play. Large and small motor development is encouraged through games, finger plays, musical activities and outdoor play. Our program provides learning activities appropriate for your child's age and for his or her own interests and needs. Our professionally trained and qualified teachers encourage children to be active learners. Everyday will be busy with identifying colors, shapes, letters and numbers while coloring, painting and many other activities.

We accept donations of paper, office supplies, computers and any items that will benefit the children's learning aptitudes. Please consider helping us by recycling office paper or donating items.
