Bright Minds, Happy Hearts family home childcare located in Thurmont is a non-smoking but very pet friendly family home. We are in the Thurmont Primary and Thurmont Elementary school district and are located in a quiet neighborhood across from Catoctin High. I participate in the USDA Food Program and offer a healthy Breakfast, lunch, and PM snack.
I believe that children learn best through play but rest assured your children will thrive and learn here without the pressure of worksheets and forced learning. We work on the alphabet, shapes, color, science, social studies and self awareness/growth everyday all through natural exploration and play! I also have a large fenced in back yard for tons of outdoor exploring and gross motor play.
