I am a Certified Elementary School Art Teacher with 8 years experience; 4 years teaching in Montessori and 4 years running an in home Day Care and After School Program in my home. I have home schooled both of my children, my son is now in public school and I am continuing to home school my daughter. I am an extremely creative and hands on person; bringing crafts and music into every day. I am patient, consistent, orderly and I maintain a daily routine and rhythm. My home has been singularly devoted to the care of children for the past 8 years. I live on a quiet street, one block from the city park and neighborhood school. I have a large deck, fenced in yard and swing set. I have a sun filled play room stocked with engaging toys. I do not own a television and I do not believe in electronics for young children. I provide healthy, well balanced snacks and meals. Or you may bring your own food preferences.
I enjoy keeping my day care small with only one or two families at a time. So your children will have all of the attention that they need. I have outstanding references! And I look forward to meeting you and your little ones!
