Bridges Home Care is a locally owned and operated private duty home care agency, providing high quality, reliable care, for seniors in and around the Pittsburgh metro area.

We are one third of the Bridges Care Network, which also includes Bridges Home Health (for home bound patients with "skilled" needs) and Bridges Hospice, which provides top flight palliative and hospice services. As a result of our partnerships with Bridges Home Health and Bridges Hospice, our caregivers have experience working with clientsand families with diverse needs--from companionship and fall prevention, to homemaking and personal care services, through dementia and end of life care. Regardless of what specific services are required, Bridges Home Care provides compassionate, quality care, aimed at allowing our clients to stay safe, comfortable, and as independent as possible, wherever they call home--whether that be a private home, an independent living facility, or other facility. We offer two broad levels of service. "Companion Care" is appropriate for clients who manage their own personal care needs (i.e. bathing, dressing and toileting), but need some assistance with daily tasks in and around the home. Companion caregivers keep the client company and are on hand to prevent accidents and sound the alarm, should anything occur. Some examples of the types of services companion caregivers provide include socialization activities, dementia care, medication reminders, light housekeeping, laundry, ambulation assistance, assistance with transfers, meal planning and preparation, as well as shopping and errand running. "Personal Care" encompasses everything included with Companion Care, as well as assistance with bathing and dressing, general hygiene maintenance, grooming, and incontinence care. All Bridges caregivers pass competency exams, receive ongoing training, (including CPR/First Aid), and are thoroughly screened, via criminal background and reference checks.
