Bridges Family Child Care

Welcome to Bridges Family Child Care (BFCC). At BFCC, we aim to:
(1) Provide a continuation of the quality care working parents would give their children if their jobs didn't pull them away from home. As a mom who worked 18 years outside the home, I understand the hectic schedule of a working parent. My program offers the smoothest transitions at arrival and departure times for parent and child, ranging from infancy (for whom I provide diapers, wipes, formula, bottles, Sippy cups, nap time bedding, and car seats) to adolescents (for whom I offer transportation to and from school or school bus stop and designate time and assistance for homework)?all in an environment that keeps kids busy, academically and socially.

(2) Promote a setting that integrates mainstream kids with children with special needs. I've seen first-hand the segregation between children with disabilities from those without and hope to bridge the gap between the two. My focus is on inclusion and encouraging all children to recognize and appreciate the unique qualities and gifts that each person possesses.

We provide a safe, comfortable and loving environment for children of all ages to grow, learn, explore, and socialize. We have a bright, cheery classroom and follow a daily schedule of learning activities, arts and crafts, music and movement, story time, and dramatic play. We offer supervised, outdoor play and are currently building a block wall around the backyard for added security. We serve nutritious meals and snacks. Subsidized programs are welcome.
